Not all services and specialties are available at all locations. Patients are able to see specialists throughout the Network.
On Thursdays from 3-7pm at the Ryan Women’ and Children’s Center and Ryan-NENA, adolescents between the ages of 13-21 can receive confidential services such as STD and HIV counseling and testing, pelvic exams, and mental health counseling.
Coordinated, Comprehensive Care
Regular check-ups are an important part of early detection and the prevention of serious illnesses, such as hypertension and diabetes.
Whether it’s a routine cleaning, help with dentures, or check-ups for serious conditions like oral cancer, our Dental Department offers comprehensive services for adults and children.
The William F. Ryan Community Health Network offers a team of dedicated and experienced HIV health care professionals who are committed to providing you and your loved ones a range of comprehensive HIV services to keep you healthy.
Emotional support and mental well-being are key components of your health. Our Mental Health Department provides confidential services for all members of the community – children over 6 years of age, teens, and adults. The department consists of a team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, and mental health counselors. Services include: group, family, or individual therapy; relationship and grief therapy; domestic violence counseling and safety planning; crisis intervention; psychiatric evaluation; psychopharmacology; case management; information and referrals.
A nutritionist can assess your dietary needs and give you advice about your eating habits as they relate to your doctor’s recommendation. We offer individual consultations, cooking demonstrations, videos, recreational activities and group classes to learn about nutrition.
The Right Start for a Bright Future
Keep your child’s health on track with regular check-ups, immunization and treatment. We provide primary and specialty healthcare for children, teens and young adults. Established patients can be seen from birth to 21 years of age, and new patients can enter Pediatrics up to 19 years of age.
The Ryan Network provides a wide range of specialties, including: allergy, cardiology, dermatology, pediatric endocrinology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology/optometry, podiatry, and urology.
Same Day Sick Visits
If your medical need is urgent, you can call (212) 749-1820 or visit a center for a “Same Day Sick Visit.” Appointments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis – subject to practitioner availability.
WIC (The Women, Infants and Children Program)
Eligibility for WIC is based on both family income and the health status of the mother and child(ren). If eligible, you will receive free nutrition classes, counseling, and food coupons to purchase nutritious food at neighborhood supermarkets or grocery stores.

Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care
Whether you need to know about healthy pregnancies or planning the size of your family, we can provide specialized information on reproductive health.
The Women’s Health Department offers regular check-ups, PAP tests and breast examinations for our patients. If needed, GYN surgery can be performed at one of our partner hospitals, Mount Sinai St. Luke’s, Mount Sinai West, or Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
Prenatal and Obstetrical Care
Regular check-ups from an early stage of pregnancy ensure optimum health for you and your child. We offer childbirth and breastfeeding classes, nutritional counseling, HIV testing and other services.
Patients can give birth at one of our partner hospitals, Mount Sinai West or Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
For mothers who do not have insurance and are in need of financial aid, we offer assistance with Medicaid application and other financial assistance programs.
