Meet a Member of Your Care Team: Jenneate Radix-Grant, DDS
For Jenneate Radix-Grant, dentistry started at home. Her father was a dentist who spent much of his career working in Community Health Centers, similar to Ryan Health. As a child, she would spend time in his dental office, where she even helped develop X-rays and complete laboratory work.
“I used to go downstairs and help him develop X-rays and do lab work and things of that sort,” she says. “So that’s what sparked my interest in dentistry.”
Today, Dr. Radix-Grant is the Director of Dental Services for Ryan Health. She joined Ryan Health in January 2026 and, alongside her administrative responsibilities, continues to see patients. She has been practicing dentistry for seven years.
Her decision to join Ryan Health came from wanting to do work that felt meaningful.
“I was starting to have this feeling like I wanted to be working in a place where what I was doing was really helping people and that I could provide care for people who really needed it” she says. When a friend shared a Ryan Health job posting with her, she knew it was the kind of opportunity she had been looking for.
For Dr. Radix-Grant, one of the most important parts of caring for patients is simply listening.
“Sometimes people come in with a lot of issues, and they feel like they haven’t been listened to,” she says. “Sometimes it’s nice to just be able to sit down and really hear what the patient needs and what they want.”
That philosophy is especially important when working with patients who are nervous about dental care. She takes time to understand their concerns, explain what to expect, and give them breaks when needed. Her goal is to help patients feel that they have a voice in her care.
Outside of Ryan Health, Dr. Radix-Grant is a wife and mother. She and her husband enjoy traveling and seeing the world, although life looks a little different now that they have a young son who is almost two years old.
Parenthood has given her a new perspective on patience—and on one of the most common pieces of advice she gives patients.
“It’s very easy to tell someone to brush twice a day, but it’s very difficult to brush a toddler’s teeth,” she says.
Being a parent has also helped her understand that taking care of a family’s health is not always as simple as it sounds. Sometimes, families have to find what works best for them.
That same patience and understanding is something Dr. Radix-Grant brings to her patients.
