Ryan Health's Annual Caring For New York Gala--Raises Funds To Ensure Underserved New Yorkers Receive Healthcare Treatment and Prevention
NEW YORK CITY — Ryan Health announces its annual Caring for New York Gala will take place on Thursday, June 6, at Cipriani 25 Broadway. The evening’s festivities begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner, awards, and auction. The Gala raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide needed healthcare to underserved New Yorkers and honors pioneering leaders advancing healthcare.
Proceeds from this year’s Gala allow Ryan Health to continue providing exceptional primary care and specialty services to low-income New Yorkers, including those still coping with the mental health impacts of COVID-19, addressing health inequities and disparities among under-resourced communities, and asylum-seekers who have arrived in New York City needing healthcare.
This year’s Gala healthcare hero honorees are Colleen DiClaudio, MPH, Founder of Nuvem, and Hispanic Federation, which will be accepted by Frankie Miranda, its President and CEO.
The Caring for New York Gala will feature entertainment by Spring 36 and Harlem Bomb Shelter. The cocktail reception will feature the Richard Cortez Band, led by queer jazz song interpreter Richard Cortez. Jamie McDonald will be the evening’s host and auctioneer.
“Every year, the scope of and need for our work expands,” said Daniel Pichinson, MBA, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ryan Health. “Delivering high-quality primary care and specialty services to New York’s underserved residents strengthens individuals, families, and the entire community. Our annual Gala helps us meet our commitment to smash healthcare inequities in New York.”
Live auction items benefiting Ryan Health include four tickets to the Jennifer Lopez concert in the Mutual of America suite at the Prudential Center in Newark on August 10; a one week stay at Vidanta Resort Grand Luxx in Mexico; two tickets to the Broadway musical Suffs, produced by Hillary Clinton; and tickets to Saturday Night Live. Ryan Health is returning to Cipriani 25 Broadway, located in the Neo-Renaissance-inspired Cunard Building designed by Benjamin Wistar Morris and completed in 1921.
Gala sponsors include Health Champion: Nuvem; Cocktail Reception Sponsor: Healthfirst; and Health Protectors: Fidelis Care, Hispanic Federation, Mount Sinai, Quest, TD Bank, Thriftway Pharmacy, and Valor Equity.
